Rusland Horizons Ancient Tree Inventory Project Training Day.

We're sorry but this training day is now fully booked.

Help protect our valuable tree heritage by becoming an ancient tree recorder for the Rusland Horizons area.

Rusland Horizons together with the Woodland Trust are running a training day on 21st March (10am – 4pm) at Finsthwaite Village Hall to learn how to identify and assess old trees and record them on the Woodland Trust Ancient Tree Inventory. The day will include a walk to visit some as yet unrecorded trees, with a view to putting our assessment, measuring and recording skills into practice.

Booking essential (as places are limited) with Claire Green of the Woodland Trust, email: ClaireGreen@woodlandtrust.org.uk

Please bring a packed lunch with you (tea and coffee will be provided), and come prepared with warm and waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear for the walk.
