Rusland Horizons - Best Practice Firearms Familiarity, Safety and Range Day

The Deer Initiative and the Rusland Horizons Landscape Partnership are pleased to offer a best practice opportunity on firearm familiarisation and safety one-day course and range session on Sunday 14th May 2017. If you manage and stalk deer within the project, you are eligible to attend, subject to overall course numbers. The event is free, and bookings are accepted on a first come first served basis.  This course will look at gun fit, marksmanship principles, zeroing, range estimation, wind judging and different shooting positions. There will be an opportunity to put into practice the above on the range. The instructor will be Bradley Bourner who is a former sniper and instructor in the Royal Marines Commandos.

You will need to bring a copy of your insurance and firearm certificate on the day, as well as your firearm with 40 rounds of ammunition, a mat (to lie on) and ear defenders. If you don’t provide these you can’t participate.Tea and coffee will be provided, but please bring your own lunch.
