Step into the intriguing industrial past of Stott Park Bobbin Mill.
The atmospheric heritage museum will be the location for a hands-on toy making workshop with Hannah Fox.
Taking the humble bobbin as a starting point we will explore simple materials and methods to create playful objects based on the bobbin. Through wrapping, painting, nailing and tying we will invent beautiful trees, animals, and little figures. Whole scenes may emerge! An autumn craft activity designed to inspire imaginations and rekindle memories of handmade toys from childhood.
There is a material charge of £5 payable to the tutor on the day.
