Rusland Horizons Apprenticeships: Taster Day

Come along to our first 'Taster Day' for the second round of apprenticeship opportunities with the Rusland Horizons Landscape Partnership. The 'Valley Futures' programme will provide an exciting chance to become part of a team dedicated to restore and protect this important landscape. With valuable qualifications, skills and training on offer, the project is looking for enthusiastic committed individuals to work within the Rusland Horizons project area in South Lakeland on practical countryside management activities. With a key part of this being to complete a Level 2 Apprenticeship in Environmental Conservation, through Newton Rigg College, this will be a great opportunity to for young people from the local area to participate in and gain practical experience within the environmental sector. (Apprenticeship applications will be open from 3rd April 2017,  to start in August 2017).

To come along, please book by emailing claire.green@lake-district.gov.uk. We can then send you directions as to how to find us and details about the day.

Further information and a role description is on our Valley Futures project page.
