Open to anyone interested in recording wildlife, whether a novice or an expert.
This event is organised by the Cumbria Biodiversity Data Centre in co-operation with Rusland Horizons. This event will aim to survey a range of species to advance our knowledge, influence management and help train volunteers in recording. In the last 10 years there has been some surveying of insects (154 records), and fungi (51 records), but only two records of flowering plants. The day will include an optional workshop featuring training on using iRecord and improving identification skills.
Location: Haybridge Nature Reserve which consists of woodland, pasture, raised bog, flushes, open tarn and a riverbank with a range of habitats and a diverse flora and fauna.
Booking essential: please contact Deb Muscat (manager@cbdc.org.uk or 01228 618732) by Friday 14th July.
