Heritage Skills 2018: Festive Carving

Location: Finsthwaite and Lakeside Village Hall, Finsthwaite. The postcode area is LA12 8BJ

A carving workshop suitable for beginners to make small wooden items for Christmas decorations and stocking-fillers etc, this will be a great intro into all whittling/carving with knives.No experience needed, but reasonable eyesight and full use of hands/shoulders.

Materials: £10 Please bring with you and give the tutor on the day

What to wear: closed footwear, no long trailing sleeves

Directions (from the south): At Newby Bridge on the A590 take the turning right over the river towards the Swan Hotel. Bear right towards Lakeside and pass the Lakeside Hotel on your right. When you get to Stott Park Bobbin Mill turn left. Turn left again towards the Church where the Hall is located behind the Church.

Cancellation: In order to receive a full refund, you must notify us 30 days of the course start date that you are unable to attend.

We are unable to offer refunds for any part of a course altered at short notice because of the weather.
