The Bill Hogarth MBE Memorial Apprenticeship Trust (BHMAT) presents the seventeenth Woodland Pioneers - Introduction to Coppicing Week, 5 days of inspiring traditional woodland craft training taught by experienced craft tutors held in a beautiful Cumbria woodland.
For newcomers there are 4 one day workshops which are Treen with Twiggy, Riven Oak Panels with Owen Jones, Coppicing with Sam Ansell & James Benson and Greenwood Stools with Jack Holden & Helen Clarke.
For returners there are 2 two day workshops which are Bowl Turning with Adrian Lloyd and Rush Weaving with Jen Molyneux & Bill Oakes.
Then on the friday there will be a number of short woodcraft workshops open to everyone.
There is a fee payable but this does include camping on site, a lunch and an evening meal. Breakfast can be purchased and there is a cash bar in the evening.
