A one-day conference to be held at Rheged, near Penrith - 10am - 4.15pm, Saturday 10th November 2018
The Lake District National Park Authority arranges the annual Lake District Archaeology Conference to showcase the research that takes place within this rich cultural landscape, which was inscribed as a World Heritage Site in July 2017. This year the conference will provide an opportunity to learn about recent projects carried out by universities, organisations and those undertaken in partnership with local communities and volunteers within the National Park.
