Grizedale Red Squirrel Walk

Location: Grizedale Visitor Centre, Grizedale, LA22 0QJ

Join local squirrel enthusiast, Danni Chalmers for a fascinating walk through Grizedale Forest. Learn lots of interesting and fun facts about the Red Squirrels and the work being done to protect this endangered species.

Meet at Grizedale Visitor Centre car park (charges apply) – look out for the Rusland Reds banners. Children are welcome and must be accompanied by an adult. Dogs must be kept on a lead. It is a free event but please book a place for each member of your group.

This event will be taking place outside in Cumbria and in September – so please come prepared for the weather and dress appropriately for rough terrain.

In the event of exceptionally poor or dangerous weather conditions the event may need to be cancelled.
