Pathways To Butterfly Conservation in North West England

The Cumbria and Lancashire branches of Butterfly Conservation, in conjunction with Lancashire University, invite you to a FREE one day Conference entitled 'Pathways to Butterfly and Moth Conservation in North-West England. The day will focus on how members and friends, together with land-owners and managers, can get more involved with the conservation of butterflies and moths.

It will be based in the main 200-seat lecture theater in the LEC building on the university campus, just 2 miles south of Lancaster city center. Doors open at 9.00am with a start time of 9:20am . There will be mid-morning, lunch and after-noon breaks and the day is due to finish by 5.00pm.

Entry and onsite parking is free, but you must register by emailing The programme is varied and includes presentations by up to 10 Lancaster and Cumbria University students, who will report on their recent research.
