Pathways To Butterfly Conservation in North West England

The Cumbria and Lancashire branches of Butterfly Conservation, in conjunction with Lancashire University, invite you to a FREE one day Conference entitled 'Pathways to Butterfly and Moth Conservation in North-West England. The day will focus on how members and friends, together with land-owners and managers, can get more involved with the conservation of butterflies and moths.

It will be based in the main 200-seat lecture theater in the LEC building on the university campus, just 2 miles south of Lancaster city center. Doors open at 9.00am with a start time of 9:20am . There will be mid-morning, lunch and after-noon breaks and the day is due to finish by 5.00pm.

Entry and onsite parking is free, but you must register by emailing chriswinnick@tiscali.co.uk. The programme is varied and includes presentations by up to 10 Lancaster and Cumbria University students, who will report on their recent research.
