Help us understand the condition of woods and identify those which have potential to support rare lichens, mosses and liverworts.
Come and join us at Rusland Reading Rooms (LA12 8JZ) before heading out to undertake a lovely walk in the woods at Thwaite Moss. Once in the woods we will help to complete a valuable Rapid Woodland Assessment to support the Plantlife temperate rain forest mapping, more information regarding Plantlife can be found at www.plantlife.org.uk.
Please arrive at 9.45 am for registration and get ready to set off at 10.00 am.
As we will be outdoors please wear sturdy footwear and bring waterproofs in case of rain.
Please bring a packed lunch and drink.
Parking is available at Rusland Reading Rooms, but please car share if possible.
