Greenwood Trail Two Guided Walk

Join us for a guided walk along one of our beautiful Greenwood Trails. Starting from Lane Ends, we will be exploring route number two, Haverthwaite Heights and Abbots Reading, covering approximately three miles - with a snack and drink stop to admire the stunning scenery.

The walk follows woodland paths, fields and a small amount of road. The paths are quite rough in places and often muddy and does include a few steep sections, although this will give the best viewpoints!

Discover this wonderful part of the Rusland valley as you are guided through stunning landscapes, learning about the history and heritage of the area along the way.

You can download the trail leaflet here to take a look at where you will be going. Each person will receive a printed Greenwood Trail leaflet on the day, which includes a map of the route and points of interest. These are also printed on waterproof paper - which might prove very useful in the Lake District!

Children are welcome, aged over 5 years. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Dogs are welcome on the walk, but must be kept on a lead and under close control at all times.

Donations would be appreciated, if you are able, with all proceeds going directly to support Rusland Horizons Trust and its future activities. Donations can be given to the walk leader on the day.

Booking now open.
