Exciting news from the project...
A red squirrel has been spotted in LDNPA Haverthwaite Heights woods on a trail camera. This is the first reported sighting in the Backbarrow area this year and is encouraging news in the quest to conserve our iconic native species. Reds have now been spotted across the project area this year, and in conjunction with increased grey control, the future is looking bright for our red friends.
