Level 3 Apprenticeship Opportunities Now Open

Level 3 Apprentices – 2 positions
Based in Haverthwaite
Salary: National Minimum Wage
Full-time, fixed term contract for 18 months

Would you like to play a vital role in an ambitious scheme to support traditional countryside skills and restore the unique wooded landscape of a wonderful part of South Lakeland? The Lake District National Park Authority, on behalf of the Rusland Valley & Fells Landscape Partnership, is recruiting two level 3 apprentices.

This is a great opportunity to gain further qualifications, training and practical skills within the environmental sector. Working within the Rusland Horizons scheme area, you will join a friendly and focused team supported by a wide network of organisations and members of the local community. To succeed, you need to be motivated and able to plan and deliver work tasks, organise other apprentices and volunteers and work as part of a team. You must have a level 2 apprenticeship in Environmental Conservation or at least 18 months experience of countryside management work to be considered for one of these posts.

A key aspect of this role will be gaining skills and qualifications for your future through Askham Bryan College, whilst completing a Level 3 (Advanced) Apprenticeship in Environmental Conservation. You will need to be committed to the apprenticeship, your training and development.

For an informal discussion about these posts please contact Marian Jones, Rusland Horizons Scheme Manager on Mob: 07990 523265. For further information about Rusland Horizons visit www.ruslandhorizons.org

We are committed to equality of opportunity and welcome applicants from all sectors of society. If you are an applicant with disabilities who meets the essential requirements of the job, we will interview you. Please note, you will not be eligible for this apprenticeship if you do not have the right to work in England, if you are already enrolled on another apprenticeship or another DfE funded FE/HE programme, or if you already have a level 3 or higher qualification in a similar subject.
