Woodland Work Party, Great Lindeth Wood, Bouth

All (adults) welcome to join our next practical work party on Saturday 15th August - a single location event held at Great Lindeth Wood at Bouth (SD 33177 85503, https://what3words.com/crunched.shams.boss). We are really pleased to be able to run this event, the first since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, but please read carefully the guidelines listed below and on your booking information.

Jo and Darryl run a small scale woodland management project at Great Lindeth Wood, promoting health and new life for native broadleaf trees and plants and creating habitat for woodland birds and butterflies.There are a number of tasks to tackle, including taking down a deer fence which is no longer needed, and removing of holly, bracken and brambles around young trees to aid their strength and growth. The work party will start at 10am, with a briefing from Jo, and finish around 1pm. The event is not suitable for chidren or dogs. Booking is essential (scroll down to 'Book Now'). Important COVID-19 INFORMATION: The max number per group will be 6.Volunteers must travel separately or with members of their household or ‘bubble’. Volunteers will work 2m apart. Please bring hand sanitiser - we will also have some available. Please note: If you have booked on to the event but feel unwell prior to or on 15th August, or have been in contact with others who are unwell with possible Covid-19 symptoms, or you have been told to self-isolate or quarantine by the Track and Trace system, YOU MUST NOT ATTEND this event.
